Garden mushrooms were one of my most popular items in my old artist life when I was doing much more garden sculpture than lamps. I finally decided to reboot the line and make them improved and more consistent.
The caps measure approximately 7″ wide and are made with standard fused and slumped glass technique, inspired by none other than an ornate rug I’d always stare at in my stretching sessions at Afterglow Aerial Arts. I make them in five different patterns. Color combinations in the examples in the photos are from whatever glass is left over from larger pieces and projects.
Their fully detachable stems are solid cast glass with a copper pipe running through the center, and include a 6″ aluminum stake to stick in your garden or flower pot.
